Job summary:
As a client-side Environmental Consultant you will take control of this significant road project from inception to completion, using your experience to deliver high level advice, stakeholder management and reporting expertise to all project stakeholders across a state significant infrastructure project.
  
This role will provide strategic and operational support, advice and leadership to all key stakeholders, delivery partners and project environmental professionals to support the achievement of our project objectives through the effective management of environmental risks.
Jobs Task and Responsibilities
  • Ensure key managers/supervisors are informed of all relevant Environmental Planning services REF / EIS
  • Influence and oversea the effective delivery of the project within the conditions of approval and regulatory guidelines.
  • Audit, review and analyse delivery of project operations to ensure compliance with the conditions of approval
  • Shaping project strategy and programming project deliverables 
  • Manage project deliverable costs and resources for the program.
  • Manage environmental regulatory developments and industry relationships to ensure the needs of the business are considered
  • Support projects to develop and review environmental management plans to meet business objectives
  • Ensure environmental programs, initiatives and innovations are effectively communicated and promoted to strengthen the culture with the business.
What you need to succeed:
  • Relevant qualifications in Environmental Engineering or Project Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Significant experience in managing environmental projects and approvals in a multi-discipline team across major infrastructure/transport projects.
  • EIS/Environmental Planning consulting experience under the NSW planning framework
  • Are committed to delivering project outcomes and will stride to make things happen and work collaboratively to get the job done.
