NEMMS JV is a well-established Indigenous Mining & Civil Contractor, operating throughout Western Australia, with a focus on the Pilbara Region. We are a client focused organisation with a strong track record in the successful delivery of contracts in mining, civil and bulk handling projects.

Due to expediential growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Area Maintenance Superintendent to help support our rapidly growing maintenance department. Role will be Perth based (Osborne Park) with weekly site visits as required.
Successful candidate will provide leadership and support for Area Maintenance Supervisors including:  
  • Managing regional maintenance resources towards effective maintenance outcomes
  • Arranging off-site repairs
  • Estimating works scopes and schedule in delivery of maintenance efforts;
  • Managing rotables, critical spares and inventory;
  • Produce regular reports from MEX to review service accuracy, component life assumptions and cost data used on both individual and regional sites.
  • Monitoring warranty claims
  • Liaising with suppliers and ensuring optimum business outcomes.
  • Ensuring adherence to maintenance plans, budgets and the availability and reliability of equipment on site
  • Ensuring adequate resources are consistently available to meet business requirements
  • Providing strategic direction on mobile equipment maintenance strategies and improvement initiatives  
  • Performance management of maintenance group
Successful candidate will have:  
  • Previous senior leadership experience within a Mining and Civil Construction environment
  • Relevant trade/engineering qualifications (preferably HD Fitter)
  • Strong background in heavy mobile maintenance and equipment lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to lead by example
