A fantastic opportunity for a Front End Construction Solicitor to join our Sydney office.

We have one of the country's oldest, largest and most experienced infrastructure, construction and engineering practices. With 11 partners and a supporting team of 38 solicitors and paralegals, our construction and engineering team deliver cutting-edge advice on the most complex and challenging projects. We advise major stakeholders in the construction and engineering industries.

Our practice and partners are routinely listed amongst the best in Australia in a number of legal directories, including Chambers Asia Pacific, Best Lawyers in Australia, Doyle's Guide and The Legal 500.
  
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing clients with legal advice
  • Regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes
  • Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
  • Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
  • Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy
  • Continual professional development and managing MCLE requirements
The successful candidate
  • 2-3 years' PQE with experience in front end construction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions well
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
  • A strong focus on turnaround time and ability to work under pressure
  • Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills
  • A strong, plain language communication style
