St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital (SATH) is a progressive 155 bed private not-for-profit stand-alone facility located in Toowoomba which is in the heart of South East Queensland, less than two hour drive west of Brisbane. The city is the economic and commercial hub of the Darling Downs region with a population of over 160,000 people. Toowoomba offers an exceptional standard of living with access to nationally acclaimed schooling, with the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast both within easy reach for a weekend away.
Applications are invited from Enrolled Nurses with acute medical and/or palliative care experience for casual positions in our busy 37 bed acute medical/ palliative care ward and 14 bed sub-acute medical ward.
Mandatory Qualification/ Professional Registration/ Other Requirements:
  • Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
  • A minimum of 2 year post graduate experience in medical/ palliative care nursing (desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Ensure both clinical practice and professional standards are identified and maintained in the delivery of safe patient care.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
  • High level verbal and written documentation, with advanced interpersonal communication skills.
  • Be proactive in own professional development and maintain competencies, identify learning needs and actively seek opportunities to expand skills and knowledge.
