Mundipharma Australia is currently recruiting for an engaging Sales Manager to join our Oncology Business Unit. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Oncology, you will be responsible for the development and day-to-day management of a team of hospital sales representatives who promote a variety of Oncology and Haematology brands across NSW, SA and WA. While you will ideally be based in Sydney, frequent travel is required (a minimum of 1 week in 4 will be spent outside of NSW).
Our Sales Managers provide formal and informal feedback, as well as coaching and appraisals in order to support their team members to meet and exceed role requirements, and to further develop and grow their capabilities. You will work with the Business Unit Manager to recruit and retain sales staff, prepare for Sales Meetings as well as develop and execute the strategic business objectives across your area of responsibility.
You will also get the opportunity to be an integral member of the Oncology Brand Teams, where you will provide feedback on implementation, as well as share customer insights, to optimize business opportunities. Using your strong business acumen, you will get the chance to work with varying products across different oncology/haematology tumor types, each product presenting with unique opportunities and challenges.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
  • First line management and coaching experience of pharmaceutical sales representatives
  • Proven experience managing a hospital sales team is preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and a solution focused attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, numerical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp scientific information, be proactive and act with a sense of urgency
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within the Oncology and/or Haematology therapeutic area will be highly regarded
