ABOUT THE ROLE
 
Advantaged Care at Georges Manor Lodge is a 143 bed facility. We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist / Administrator who has a strong initiative, a desire to add value and who is interested in a long term role within an expanding aged care organisation. This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday 9-5pm. 
 
The Successful candidate will hold:
 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Task focused with an ability to time manage, prioritise and multi-task
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Well presented with a professional and friendly manner
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
  • 12 months experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care.
 
Duties include but not limited to:
 
  • Greeting all visitors as the first point of contact with Advantaged Care
  • Managing telephone calls in a professional and polite manner
  • Responding to queries or requests where possible
  • Referring stakeholders or customers to the appropriate source
  • Play a pivotal role in the management of the staff roster and the administration of the rostering system.
  • Provide administrative support to the manager and other support managers when required
  • Establishing and maintaining systems and processes for all administrative areas of the office
  • At all times, handle and store sensitive information appropriately
  • General ad-hoc duties and responsibilities
