About the role:
The Field Services team is offering an exciting career opportunity as a Water Industry Worker (WIW) Level 4, to be based at our Southern Service Centre, Morayfield.  This is a critical field based role, supervising and participating in on site works, supporting crews delivering planned and reactive civil maintenance, operation, minor replacement, renewals and extension of water supply and sewerage systems, ensuring a quality service to Unitywater’s customers.
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate your competency in water sewerage environments, along with the ability to work alone without supervision. Your desire to be part of a driven and supportive team, along with the following experience and attributes will see you thrive in this role:
  • Experience and competence in the operation and maintenance of water supply and sewerage systems.
  • Demonstrated positive leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide and direct staff in the field.
  • Hold a Certificate II and a Certificate III in Water Operations, with 12 months experience in the role of a WIW3 or equivalent.
  • Capable of undertaking Certificate IV in Leadership and Management and a Certificate IV in Water Operations
  • Have the ability to participate in after-hours work rosters.
  • Hold a current MR and C class driver’s licence, and a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
