About the role:
In this position, you will coordinate, support and enhance spatial & attribute data requirements for water, wastewater and recycled water networks by supervising and performing data capture and maintenance, analysis and programming tasks in order to provide Unitywater with accurate and current data and information.  Key accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Set and Implement Asset Master Data Standards – Data Definitions, Field Uses, Validation Rules in the information management systems.
  • Maintain and implement processes to ensure Asset Data Integrity by preparing and maintaining asset data load sheets in accordance with the Asset Data Technical Specifications.
  • Create and Maintain Asset Master Data by managing requests for system enhancements, configuration changes and data downloads against nominated timeframes.

  • Relevant industry qualifications such as Database Administration and/or Engineering, coupled with industry experience, preferably in an asset intensive industry.
  • Demonstrated and practical understanding of enterprise asset management systems such as Maximo, SAP, Ellipse will be highly regarded, as will experience in systems such as GIS and CAD.
  • Experience working with complex data including collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Data analysis background with experience in Power BI or SQL will be highly regarded.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
