About You:
The ideal candidate is a recent University graduate with a Bachelor’s and or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science and looking to start your career as a Software Developer.

What's in it for you?
This role is a permanent/full-time position commencing in April 2021 and you will be brought onboard our Associate Consultant Development Program for a 2 year period. You will receive a high level of support through Ampion's Associate Development Program.

Required Skills, Experience and Values
(Of the technical skills listed below, you should have experience in the majority or some of the technologies/tools)
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent (Minimum requirement) ideally a Master's degree (Majoring in Software Engineering)
  • Any experience in Mulesoft/Anypoint Studio is highly regarded.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Experience in Java/Maven
  • Experience documenting APIs using RAML or Swagger.
  • Experience building Relational Database Queries
  • SQL, PostgreSQL etc..
  • Is a motivated self-learner
  • Passionate about building software that provides a good user experience.
  • Someone who will or can work in a remote team.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Curious – we want people who are inquisitive, and have a real hunger to learn
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and strong team player
What will the average day look like?
  • Working with analysts and system experts to determine and write API definition and specifications
  • Working with Anypoint Studio to build APIs for retrieving and transforming data from one system to another.
  • Monitoring and debugging performance issues across the MuleSoft
