About the role:
  • A full time, 38 hour per week position.
  • Block shifts alternating week to week of opening one week and closing the other (6:45am – 2:45pm one week and 10am – 6pm the other).
  • Plenty of admin hours for this position.
  • Position includes both non-contact and face to face contact with children, parents and other educators.
  • Assist the Centre Director to lead and manage the day to day operations.
  • Step up and lead the centre in the absence of the Centre Director.
  • Build strong and genuine relationships with the children, families and other educators.
  • Administration time is set aside for tasks that may consist of items such as: QIP development; Policy maintenance; Vacation Care programming and planning; rostering, maintaining enrolments, etc.

  • CCMS program used is QikKids (has Enrol & Kiosk).

  • Approved Provider is a volunteer Parent Management Committee whose main priority is quality for the children.
Who are we looking for?
  • OSHC experience highly desirable.
  • Relevant industry Qualification desirable.
  • Someone who has great attention to detail and is well organised.
  • Working knowledge of QikKids, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Professional approach and exceptional leadership skills
  • Time management skills & ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work supportively to other educators, families and children.
  • A sound knowledge of the NQF and all it encompasses - NQS, My Time Our Place Framework, Regulations.
  • CHCPRT001: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).
  • HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).

Looking for an individual that understands, adheres and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
