Come work for this great community based OSHC service that is offering a fantastic position to help with the smooth operation & organisation of the centre.

This service is restructuring their organisational structure and are looking for a Kindergarten Program Coordinator to join their already amazing team.

Work with supportive, experienced and qualified OSHC professionals.
About the role:
  • Permanent part-time position, flexible on hours – between 20 to 30 hours a week.
  • Option to work split shifts or work a block shift of 12-6pm.
  • Between $26 - $30 per hour (above award) plus broken shift allowance of $16.76 per day a split shift is worked.
  • Build strong and genuine relationships with the children, families and other educators.
  • As the Kindergarten Program Coordinator, you will have autonomy in your position and be in charge of creating a separate program for the 20 Kindergarten children at the service.
  • Reflect on the program and how it is working in the service and for the Kindergarten children.
  • Time off the floor for admin work such as programming and reflections.
  • Work in a strong organisational structure of a Director, Assistant Director, Educational Leader and 4 other Senior Educators. This position will sit alongside the Senior Educators level.
  • Will act as a responsible person (RP) in charge when needed (along with the above all being RP’s as well).
  • Gain valuable experience working with children in a professional setting.

Who are we looking for:
  • OSHC experience highly desirable.
  • Someone that is creative and can make age appropriate programs for the Kindergarten children.
  • Relevant industry Qualification or working towards a qualification desirable.
  • Someone who has great attention to detail and is well organised.
  • Working knowledge of QikKids an advantage.
  • Professional approach and leadership skills
  • Time management skills & ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work supportively to other educators, families and children.
  • A sound knowledge of the NQF desirable - NQS, My Time Our Place Framework, Regulations.
  • CHCPRT001:Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).
  • HLTAID004:Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).

Looking for an individual that understands, adheres and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
