OSHC Educators | 2 Positions Available | Permanent Part Time

2 x OSHC positions are available for Educators (called Program Assistants at this centre) to join this established volunteer Parent Committee managed centre in Lindfield. Gain valuable experience working with primary aged children.

  • Plus a split shift allowance of $16.47 each day a morning and afternoon is worked.

About the position?
  • Assist the Leadership Team with the day to day running of the service.
  • Positively interact with all stakeholders – children, families, school and other educators of the service. A positive on the floor presence.
  • OSHC has a focus of providing quality care to children via a play-based program (like a school curriculum) that focuses on the social and emotional development of children.
  • Very child centred - assist with programming to help maintain a range of spontaneous, fun, child driven activities that capture both the interests and passions of the children.
  • Day to day administration (such as daily checklists, assist with preparing breakfast and afternoon tea, etc).
Who are we looking for?
  • Someone that aligns with the goals and philosophy of the centre.
  • Someone willing to learn with a positive mindset.
  • CHCPRT001: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection (or willingness to obtain).
  • HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (or willingness to obtain).
