Out of School Hours Care (OSHC / OOSH)

Permanent Part Time position | 34-36 hours a week to start during Term Time | 38 hours a week during Vacation Care.

What's involved?
  • As the Assistant Coordinator, assist the Coordinator and other Assistant Coordinator to manage the day to day management of the centre.
  • Hours are 6am – 9am and 2:30pm – 6pm, with the remaining hours to be used for admin purposes off site, relax at home or at a favourite café.
  • Work with the Director / owner and other staff to develop and deliver a quality service to meet the needs of the children and the school community.
  • Kidsoft CCMS program.
  • Ensuring a high-quality standard of care is provided and that a positive, safe and professional environment is maintained for all.
  • Create a positive team culture and effectively mentoring, managing, supporting and developing the educators at the centre.
Who are we looking for?
  • A relevant qualification to the childcare / teaching industry, or other relevant qualification (preference is for Diploma or above).
  • CHCPRT001: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection.
  • HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.
  • Experience in child related employment.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated Educator who has initiative, is organised and patient. They are open minded, flexible and have a genuine desire to work with children.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, National Quality Standards and National Law and Regulations.
