The role
Reporting to the Pricing Manager, you will contribute to sales and margin growth by improving product and pricing data along with pricing maintenance processes from supplier price changes to customer invoicing. Located in our purpose built office servicing our national network, this is a great opportunity for a skilled pricing analyst to join this pivotal team.
  
What you would do
  • Conduct pricing analysis - database crunching and data modelling.
  • Support the central team and branch network through pricing process improvement initiatives leading to margin improvement.
  • Provide analytical support to the Pricing Manager to assist in the diagnosis of issues, prioritising of actions, resolution of issues and communication to stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidelines for Pricing Team and broader business on pricing matters.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations and actions.
  • Knowledge of marketing / sales strategy and pricing.
  • Project management experience.
  • A willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to engage at all levels of the organisation, particularly front-line staff.
  • Convincing and influencing communication abilities
  • Problem solving skills
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • Advanced Excel / Access / PowerPoint skills
