Machine Operator/s (Extrusion) needed for an almost immediate start in a busy manufacturing plant based in Coopers Plains on a rotating 12 hr roster.

  • Forklift and Current Drivers Licence Required
  • Fit and able to pass a Medical incl a Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Temporary - Ongoing Casual position with potential for permanency
One of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of pipe systems and solutions for the transportation of fluid, data and energy is currently seeking Manufacturing Production Workers to commence within their Brisbane manufacturing facility on an almost immediate basis.

With manufacturing sites across Australia and a comprehensive nationwide network of warehousing and distribution facilities, this organization is now recognised domestically and internationally as a major participant in the pipe industry and as a quality manufacturer of PVC, Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) pipe systems.
  
This position will be based in a Coopers Plains Manufacturing Facility

To be successful for these roles, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

-Driver's Licence and access to own transport is essential

-High Risk Forklift Licence and experience

-Ability to work in a Rotating 12 hr (Day / Night & Weekend) Shift Roster

-Available for on-call, relief and on-going work

-Excellent work ethic and attitude

-Strong communication skills

-Excellent safety focus and ability to adhere to WHS guidelines

-The ability to work in a fast paced and high demand manufacturing plant

As a team member operating one of the extrusion lines, you will be required to undertake a variety of tasks daily including:

-Manufacturing of products according to given schedule and quality specifications

-Performing product shut down, size changes and start-ups

-Packing and strapping pipe for shipping

-Measuring and recording production data

Multiple on going and on call casual opportunities available, successful applicants will  commence as a full time casual, working nights and days, rotating 12 hour shifts Monday to Sunday across 7 days. You must have a current forklift license, be reliable, and available for an almost immediate start.
