As a Trainer & Assessor for CHC43115 - Certificate IV in Disability and CHC43415 - Certificate IV in Leisure and Health you will be in a key educational position to drive student satisfaction and learner progression within the School of Health.  

Your Responsibilities include;

  • Marking assessments and supporting students through the Learning Management System
  • Respond to student queries and conduct webinars that enhance the Online Learning Experience 
  • Ensure up-to-date and engaging content is available within the student portal
  • Conduct Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and workplace assessments
  • Moderate online forums and facilitate online learning activities 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of courses 
  • Conduct workplace visits
  •  Continually update and stay current with all VET requirements 
Your Skills & Experience: 
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 including Units of Competency TAEASS502 and TAELLN411) or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development
  • The vocational competencies at least of the level being delivered and assessed
  • Relevant professional industry experience (must be considered current according to industry standards)
  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs assessment
  • Knowledge of AQF 2013 and other relevant accreditation schemes
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Superior student and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
 Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience in competency-based training delivery & assessments
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an RN or EEN (Where applicable)
  • Other interpersonal skills as outlined in the position description
