Our Client

A leading food manufacturer with an established reputation of providing the highest quality products to their wide-ranging customer base has a need for a new Manufacturing Manager. Due to their recent growth, a need has been created for an established people leader to step up into this dynamic FMCG business.


Reporting to the GM, the Manufacturing Manager will oversee the people, process, quality and safety of both the production floor.

The Manufacturing Manager will be required to bring technical and analytical expertise combined with strong organisational skills and an engaging approach to team development to drive improvement of KPI's. Demonstrating a wide understanding of operational functions including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), LEAN, safety and quality.
It is also the responsibility of the Manufacturing Manager to monitor KPI reporting, labour costs and the performance management of staff.
As the business continues in its substantial operational and business improvement. It is imperative that the Manufacturing Manager be a hands-on leader with an energy, resilience and desire to work towards new company goals as well as develop their own career within the business.

This growth mindset as an organisation also means the ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of new product development, as well as commissioning of new equipment.
Skills Required 
  • 5+ years’ experience within a Production or Operations leadership position within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven commitment to site safety and quality.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • A desire to really lead people on the floor and up skill the team.
  • A proactive, solution-based mindset.
