Cyber Security Analyst

With that growth and our further recent expansion into Australia, we are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst, a brand-new role to support us in this era of digital disruption.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying cyber-security related risks to the organization across people, process, and technology.
  • Monitor, analyse, and engage with the business around IT Risk & Security tool alerts, assisting in the optimisation of these tools with our managed service providers
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the organization is getting value from its digital and cyber-security related investments.
  • Assist the Head of Cyber Security with regular reporting

You have excellent relationship building skills at all levels, both internally and externally. You are a great communicator and maintain the highest levels of honesty and integrity at all times. You excel at bringing others on the journey with you, championing change across the board.

Desired qualifications include:
  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Network, or other Technology analysis roles such as Infrastructure management.
  • Experience of Office 365 suite and AWS, with a focus on Identity & Access, cloud applications, and monitoring and alerts.
  • Understanding of Information Security Standards such as: NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NZISM, GDPR, CIS Benchmarks, and ISO27001.
  • An understanding of core Cyber-Security principles in the domains of: Incident Management and Incident Response, Identity & Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, Cyber-Security education and awareness, and reporting & metrics.
