About the role: 
Due to recent expansion within this well regarded Queensland Development organisation, an Acquisitions Manager is now required to assess, identify and progress acquisition opportunities in accordance with company acquisition strategies. This is a critical role within the business where your main responsibilities will include:

Key Accountabilities:
Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
  • Conducting site review and acquisition
  • Managing the day to day work including entitlements, legal documentation, project coordination, tracking, and reporting on applicable project management systems
  • Building and promoting strategic partnerships within the property industry among local developers, landowners, brokers and city council
  • Developing and implementing market-level strategies, reviewing existing site, prospecting new site and give direction and oversight
  • Preparing budgets and estimating the return-on-investment analysis for property investment
  • Compiling market research and analysis for the Managing Director
  • Monitoring and checking development activities
Person Specifications:
  • Be self-driven and proactive
  • Excellent listening skills and customer service focus
  • A willingness to problem solve
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Have confidence to work autonomously and use initiative when faced with obstacle
  • Have advanced computer skills— in particular, Word, Excel and experience with databases will be highly regarded
  • Excellent phone manner
  • A high level of accuracy & attention to detail
Qualifications, requirements & experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with a property background. Background may have come from within development, consultancy, valuation, agency or one of the financiers
  • Knowledge of local land use regulations 
  • Proven property acquisitions experience
