About the role:

We currently have a variety of additional shifts available at our pharmacy in Richmond. Here’s your chance to gain additional experience by providing a quality dispensing service to the hospitals supported by Slade Richmond. This service extends to Epworth Richmond, Epworth Hawthorn and Thomas Embling hospitals.

More than 20 wards exist at Epworth Richmond, including urology, oncology, reconstructive surgery, ICU, neurosciences, emergency department, and many more. While rehab services are offered at Epworth Hawthorn and Thomas Embling hospital provides forensic mental health services.

The shifts currently available are:
  • Wednesday 5pm - 10pm
  • Fridays       8am - 12pm or 5pm - 10pm
  • Saturdays   9am - 1pm
  • Sundays     9am - 12pm
We also have the following shifts available once a month in a 4 week roster:
  • Sunday (week 1)    8am - 5pm
  • Saturday (week 2)  8am - 5pm
  • Sunday (week 3)    5pm - 10pm

Key responsibilities will include checking and dispensing prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients, preparation of medication profiles, counselling and liaising with patients, nursing staff and doctors.

About you:
  • AHPRA registered Pharmacist
  • High level of professionalism, accuracy and efficiency
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
