About the role:
We have an exciting permanent part-time (30 hrs per fortnight) opportunity available to join a collaborative team based at the Mayo Private Hospital in Taree. Working Thursdays and Fridays between 8am - 4pm, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on hospital experience while partnering with an expert team of allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
About you:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual keen to join a vibrant team environment. With an eagerness to learn and the ability to work autonomously, you will use your previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy to contribute to patient care. 
Skills and experience:
  • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Hospital experience not mandatory.
