The 2020 Pharmacist Pre-Registration Program is designed to advance your clinical knowledge by offering comprehensive training and development opportunities across a broad range of hospital practice settings. With a network of experienced pharmacists providing mentorship and guidance, our dedicated teaching program will ensure you receive the support and development you need to kick-start your pharmacy career. These key opportunities are based at our Epic and Icon Pharmacies in Wesley Hospital (Auchenflower), Brisbane Private Hospital (Spring Hill), Icon Cancer Centre (South Brisbane), and River City (Auchenflower), with each pharmacy offering a full-time, 12 month contract.  Our pharmacy group place great emphasis on promoting from within, so this is your chance to get a foot in the door for ongoing permanent opportunities in our clinical pharmacies across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare medications for dispensing to patients
  • Counsel patients on the proper use of medicines
  • Participate in clinical pharmacy review
  • Liaise with hospital wards and associated employees
  • Medication supply and logistics
  • Assist with projects, audits and reviews
  • Attend seminars and participate in an approved Intern Training Program
