About the role:
An exciting permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday has become available. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will make a difference by delivering quality pharmacy services for the care and benefit of our patients. You will predominantly be based onsite at the Epworth Hospital in Richmond while rotating to our other pharmacy sites across Melbourne CBD fringe.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in dispensing and diversifying your career in pharmacy. You will be exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary services including Hospital and Compounding. With the support of our friendly and collaborative team, you will receive the right training and support to succeed.
Key responsibilities:
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Assist with the management of hospital imprest
  • Process sales transactions and assist with account enquiries
  • Manage scripts and duplicates
  • Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
  • Process PBS claims
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Inventory control and management
Skills & experience:
  • Previous experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy
  • Valid Driver's License and has access to your own form of transport
  • Ability to adapt to different environments 
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
