We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacist with a keen eye for details to work in our state of the art sterile compounding facility based in Mount Waverley. With responsibility for releasing all finished product (including cytotoxics and antibiotics) and dispatching it in a timely manner. The role covers all aspects of production including receipt of orders, order entry, picking ingredients and packing the finished product. The nature of the role allows you to focus on the accuracy of batches, without the patient interaction. This is also an amazing opportunity to work for half of the day on clinical trials.
 
If you’re the sort of person who is motivated by getting the details right in a high volume back of house environment, where each dose is tailor made to the patient, this is the job for you.
 
On offer is a permanent full time position, working Monday to Friday from approx. 12noon to 8pm plus one Sunday shift every four weeks usually between the hours of 1pm and 6pm . It is a wonderful opportunity to not only join a successful and expanding company, but also allows you time to enjoy every single weekday morning to pursue your other interests in life.

Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a production or hospital environment, preferably in the field of oncology is desirable
  • AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • Training in GMP and Quality Systems
  • Knowledge of Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Regulations
  • Knowledge of TGA
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  
Candidates will also be required to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical which includes a supervised drug test.
