About the role:
Collaborate with our dynamic team on a 12-month contract to deliver optimum patient centred pharmaceutical care. Based at the Epworth Hospital in Box Hill, you will be required to work 38 hours per week Monday-Friday.
  
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hospital environment while partnering with an expert team of local staff and doctors.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
  • Prepare and supply Medication Profiles for discharges
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines

Skills & Experience:
  • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working as a registered pharmacist in an Australian based pharmacy 
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to efficiently prioritise your workload
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
