Partner with our supportive and interactive team at the Epworth Hospital. Flexibility to work 22-30 hours per week. Training & induction provided.

About the role:
Collaborate with our dynamic team on a permanent part-time basis to deliver optimum patient centred pharmaceutical care. Based on site at the Epworth Private Hospital in Richmond, you will work Wednesday 4pm-9pm and various Saturday shifts between 8am-10pm. 
  
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hospital environment while partnering with an expert team of local staff and doctors.

Key responsibilities: 
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
  • Prepare and supply Medication Profiles for discharges
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
  
About you:
We are looking for a passionate individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently prioritise your workload. 
  
Skills & Experience:
  • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working as a registered pharmacist in an Australian based pharmacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
