The Opportunity
One of the most interesting businesses in Christchurch is embarking on its biggest and most exciting adventure yet. With recent complementary acquisitions, they are poised to make a wider impact on the international market. This role takes a leading place in supporting that journey and shaping the Financial and Corporate infrastructure for this newly formed group.
Reporting directly to the recently promoted CFO, this is a great opportunity to learn the business and grow under CFO and CEO with a genuine pedigree of mentoring and progressing.

The Role 
  • Facilitating the delivery of consolidated monthly financial reporting (Board Financial statements package and Group management accounts).
  • Manage the Group’s financial reporting obligations
  • Full 360-degree financial control across the Group
  • Higher level treasury and relationship management across banks and other 3rd parities
  • Oversee tax and compliance for the group, including direct and indirect taxes.
  • Undertake a range of other activities within the Corporate Finance function, in conjunction with other Finance staff, such as governance/internal control activities; business administration, insurance management and financial modelling.
  • Play a key leadership role driving the businesses wider organisational performance
  • Support and develop individual capabilities and team performance
  • Exec and Board level liaison, presentation, and interface
  • Identification and initiation of operational and technology change and transformation
Your Profile
  • Extensive leadership across governance, reporting, treasury, tax, board and investor liaison
  • You are someone who wants to make a difference at every level of the organisation
  • Extensive blue chip / corporate background with tenure
  • A confident and assured influencer and presenter at every level of a business
  • International travel is part of this role and this should be seen as a selling point to any interested candidate
  • Retail, wholesale, or supply chain experience is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to operate at pace with multiple streams of work and projects
