About the role

We have a great opportunity for you to join ELGAS as an Business Development Manager. Based out of Brisbane, QLD you will be responsible for the growth and retention of select managed Industrial Gases and Hospitality Customers and seeking and converting new business prospects across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

Key responsibilities in this role include:
  • Increase the profitability of the portfolio through effective price & contract management and product substitution
  • Identify, develop and commercialise growth opportunities in existing customer accounts and new business prospects
  • Develop mutually rewarding relationships with prospective and current customers
  • Provide technical support and solutions and deliver outstanding customer experience
  • Work collaboratively across internal functions
You will have skills and experience including:
  • Strong selling and business development skills including customer negotiation
  • Thorough understanding of price and contract management
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of energy and confidence
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and succeed
  • Results focussed approach and takes initiative
  • Experience in growing existing accounts and Lead Generation & conversion
