We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional to join our Napier team in a fun and challenging sales role as you work to smash targets and drive new customer sales. You will have strong customer service skills and have experience working towards KPIs and deadlines. You will be a natural go-getter and thrive in an environment that celebrates success. Chasing leads, cold calling and developing relationships is crucial to this role in order to build business and drive success in the commercial sector.

In this role your main focus will be building strong customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions to our commercial partners. You will preferably have a background in the flooring or building/construction industry (or a closely related field). You will already have strong track record in achieving sales and/or already know who the key players are in the market.
  
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Following up on customer leads
  • Measuring/estimating flooring requirements and constructing a detailed plan
  • Meeting or exceeding performance Sales targets
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical product knowledge
  • A strong background in Business to Business sales
  • Ability to build strong and long lasting relationships
  • Understanding of the flooring industry or experience selling trade based products
  • Experience in contract preparation and negotiation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanour
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming commercial activity into results
  • Work autonomously and as part of a supportive team
  • Health and Safety knowledge in submitting tenders for construction an advantage
  • A good sense of humour will make you a great team fit
