Senior Service Leader

Our Mission is to support people to Love their Life and Live their dreams. We are rapidly growing and seeking a full time Senior Service Leader to join our Team in Coffs Harbour. 

The Senior Service Leader (SSL) will assist in the development and implementation of best practice service delivery and embrace a culture of continuous improvement, work collaboratively with members of the Management Team, Service Leaders and Support staff. The SSL will assist in the development and review of Individual Plans (IP's) ensuring a person led approach to support and planning. The SSL will assist the Area Manager in participant service entry and exit including internal participant transitions to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.   
 
Desired Skills and Attributes
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the Community Welfare Sector
  • Previous experience in managing staff
  • Demonstrated experience in plan development and participant focus
  • Must have a high level of computer literacy
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WH&S legislation and requirements
  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous experience in NDIA and knowledgeable about NDIS annual price guides and legislative requirements
   To be successful in this role you will
  • Lead by example to promote person led service delivery
  • Work with the person / people or their nominee to provide support that meets their needs as identified in their NDIS Plan and help them achieve their goals
  • Hold regular team meetings and work closely with team members to ensure Service Delivery is optimal
  • Listen to feedback and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Liaise with the clinical team / RN on all health related matters including assessments, reviews and reports
  • Identify issues that may require additional support or training
  • Participate in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Assist  with the development of Service Agreements and have them signed by the people we support / nominees
  • Ensure accurate records are kept
