We are currently seeking support workers who have a passion for working with people with a disability. The role is providing support which is individualised to the client’s needs within a SIL home based in Upper Coomera.

This is a career opportunity which will start off on a casual basis and after 3 months can be reviewed to permanent part-time. 

Understanding the experiences of someone with a mental health condition will help you provide better support.  We believe in a person led approach in ensuring the greater independence for the people we care for.
 
Experience with high needs, complex behaviours and managing community access is desirable.  along with good communication, having a calm, collective and patient nature and ability to utilise technology as we run a paperless service.
 
Mandatory Requirements
  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Community Services or Individual Support
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates 
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Current Yellow Card
  • Blue Card an advantage
  • Smart Phone
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts
