We have a vacancy for a qualified and motivated person with excellent leadership skills and great customer service to undertake a Service Leader Day Program position in Coffs Harbour.
This role is managing a long-standing team so the focus will be on providing ongoing motivation and support to this team, managing the day-to-day operations of the site including 8 hours administration and providing support to the Area Manager and strengthening the good family and community relationships. This is a permanent-part time opportunity, ideal for candidates looking for a role that provides the freedom to work in an environment that is conducive to flexible work hours.
We are looking for a dynamic person who has passion for this industry and the ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing industry. A high level of computer literacy and effective communication skills and lead by example to promote a person led service delivery, listen to feedback and promptly resolve any concerns. Understanding positive behaviour support plan and intellectual disability an advantage.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to
  • Document accurately and in a timely manner including staff and client incidents, WHS documentation, shift notes and other documentation associated with client care and services
  • Review team performance
  • Oversee support worker service induction and orientation
  • Support of an Area Manager and a Clinical Support team to ensure you are able to provide people centered services to our participants.  
  • Maintaining client files
  • Fill supports when short
  • Assisting with rostering on a daily basis
  Qualifications & Experience required
  • Certificate Cert IV or Diploma in Disability, Community Services or Individual Support
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates 
  • Current Full Driver’s License
  • Current Criminal History check
  • Experience in providing Disability Support services, behavioural management, dealing with anger issue and inappropriate behaviours
  • Computer literacy
  • Administrative skills
  • Excellent people management skills
A requirement of this role is that you own a smart phone, and have access to data to enable accessibility to IT systems and services.
