Overview

TSG is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to own our networking strategy across Australasia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced network engineer with excellent encryption and security experience to drive strategy and architecture across Australia and New Zealand but also develop your technical skills further.

The Person

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting the configuration and security of the TSG Australasian companies networking infrastructure. Evolving the Network Centre of Excellence (NCOE) by implementing networking and security standards across the entire Australasian group as well as pro-actively monitor the environments for performance and security issues, troubleshooting any issues that arise. Working alongside the security team the role is responsible for implementing security standards internally (segmented networks) and at the perimeter (on premise and Azure) to protect data that includes client and customer data along with PCIDSS related data.

The Role

To be suitable for this role, your experience should include:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a network engineering role
  • Experience in a senior role, managing and supporting the ICT infrastructure, including but not limited to, WAN, LAN, Firewall Security and IP Telephony, preferably across an international group of companies
  • Expertise in multiple vendor firewall, switching and routing technologies like Checkpoint, FortiGate and Cisco, securing edge infrastructure with firewalls, IDS/IPS products and configuration of VPNs to 3rd parties (Azure), sister companies and user VPN connectivity
  • Expert knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Competent in managing and maintaining F5 load balancers
  • Able to document and communicate process from both a technical and non-technical perspective
  • CCNP or CCIE qualification
  • Security/monitoring experience 
  • Linux & Windows Knowledge
  • Azure Cloud knowledge
