Overview

TSG, one of New Zealand’s fastest growing Tech companies, is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our high performing team on Auckland’s north shore. We are looking for a successful and driven team member with a track record in a fast-paced, commercial context. Experience utilising advanced Excel functions is crucial.  Importantly, you will have an inquisitive nature and confidence when communicating with key stakeholders as well as the capacity to take on a larger and varied workload.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Analyst to join our team. This role will add bandwidth to the TSG finance function based in Auckland and support our continued growth throughout Australasia. Reporting through to the FP&A Manager, your key responsibilities include: 
  • Financial Planning: Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasting, strategic plans and business cases
  • Analytics: Undertake analysis of commercial and operational performance to derive genuine insight; assess return on investment, assist in the continued development of data warehouse and business intelligence tools to advance data analytics
  • Management reporting: Preparation of management reports and conducting business unit reviews and associated analysis
  • Business Partnership: Support all business functions in gaining financial understanding of their operations to drive the right decision making
  • Build Relationships: Build successful working relationships with people across all functions to get the job done
  • Ad hoc analysis: As a highly agile business, you will be tasked with assisting on a number of tasks over and above – basically wherever support is required, you’ll be deployed!
