The Role:

This role will be site based and the successful candidate is expected to work on a fly in, fly out, 14 days on, 7 days off roster from Darwin, often working outdoors in remote locations.

You will be working across a range of projects and will be responsible reading and interpreting plans, quantity estimation, site set out, pick ups and as-constructed drawings. Reporting to the Project Manager your involvement will begin during the project implementation stages through project delivery to completion, ensuring an exceptional standard of work is maintained.

Selection Criteria:

The successful applicant will possess:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification - Surveying
  • 2+ years working in a similar position with reputable companies in the Civil Contracting or Mining industry
  • Experience across a number of projects including pipeline installation, earthworks and mining
  • Proficient across a range of relevant programs and software – AutoCad 3D Civil, Surpac  
  • Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish
  • The ability to work in remote locations

Pre-Employment:
