The Role:

Due to recent growth, Exact Contracting are looking for an experienced Project Supervisor for a Civil/Bulk Earthworks Project. Working closely with the Senior Management Team and reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring project activities are completed safely, within budget, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for:
  • Leading a strong safety culture, actively driving our Vision to lead the industry through safety;
  • Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules;
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements and driving operational efficiencies;
  • Providing effective leadership and supervision through engagement, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals;
  • Providing timely and accurate information to meet the management and Client requirements;
  • Maintaining and adhering to the scheduling of project activities;
  • Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client;
  • Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience/qualification);
  • More than 5 years of experience in supervisory/management role (desirable);
  • Previous mining or civil industry experience with a solid understanding of plant / equipment operations and maintenance;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc;
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings;
  • Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance (within 3 months), pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
