The Role:

An opportunity exists for high performing individuals within our dynamic and highly motivated Human Resources team. We are interested in hearing from people with tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or similar) who are energetic, eager to learn and have a drive to succeed.
  
Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Human Resources Manager this role will be the primary point of contact for a section of the business. You will provide operational support to line managers across a broad range of human resources activities with a focus on recruitment and on-boarding, as well employee relations, performance management, injury management and return to work, and training and development. No two days will be the same.
  
This role will allow you to drive human resource projects and initiatives that contribute to the success of our organisation, supporting the company's national operations and 500+ staff.
  
Key Responsibilities include:
  • High volume end to end recruitment;
  • Developing employment contracts and variations;
  • Facilitating the induction program and on boarding process;
  • Coordinating transfers between national projects;
  • Providing employee relations support to managers in accordance with legislation and policies;
  • Driving the performance evaluation process and supporting managers in conducting employee appraisals;
  • Injury management and return to work;
  • Providing coaching and support to managers across a range of HR activities including performance management, injury management, and professional development;
  • Administration as required.
Selection Criteria:
  • Human Resources (or similar) qualification;
  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role;
  • A proactive and can-do attitude and have a flexible approach towards the role;
  • Exceptional customer service skills, and a self-starter who thrives on working in an autonomous environment;
  • Ability to lead and deliver company-wide change projects and initiatives;
  • Ability to engage well with others, display empathy and maintain confidentiality;
  • Strong negotiating, conflict management and influencing skills;
  • Ability to foster strong professional relationships with employees at all levels;
  • High attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills;
  • Safety focused and leads by example.
Pre-Employment:

All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance (within 3 months), pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
