The Company
Our client is a mid-sized not for profit aged care organisation that embodies hospitality, care and friendship, to make its 25+ facilities a home. Working toward a second century of operation the company has seen steady growth in their number of facilities through development and acquisition. Expansion and improvement of its current facilities is constant. They offer 24-hour professional staffing, excellence in care, additional specialist health provision and a full schedule of activities within the facilities and in their respective communities. They seek to engage a passionate and experienced aged care leader to fulfil a key regional operations management role.
The Opportunity
You will oversee and manage a group of highly effective facility managers and their operations, clinical governance and performance across seven facilities in Northern New South Wales ensuring residents continue to receive excellent service and maintain their best quality of life. You will assist and advise all key leadership, facility managers and clinical management regarding ongoing improvement, quality control and the overall success of each facility including profit and loss. You will also be responsible for ensuring the facilities adhere to the company vision, mission and values, while identifying challenges ahead and devising strategies to overcome or avert them. You will be working closely with the CEO and the COO together with peer management to ensure your strategies enhance the smooth operation and ongoing development of your facilities and their staff and most importantly their residents.
  • AHPRA registered nurse - yes AND no - our client is open
  • Strategy development and implementation experience
  • Experience managing, educating and motivating staff
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Deep knowledge aged care standards, accreditation, legislation and WHS
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
The Rewards  

A very attractive salary package in excess of $170K+ will be offered to the right candidate. You will be working within an aged care organisation focused on progressive growth and significant promotion opportunities are expected in the medium term.
