My client is a leading edge, full service property agency with the resources and backing of its global parent company, a major hotel and resort chain, with a portfolio of 125 hotels and resorts operating in 21 countries across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Indian Ocean, Europe and South America. The role:
We are looking for an experienced Leasing Executive / Business Development Manager to compliment this well-run Property Management team. This is an opportunity for a savvy people-person looking for a fast paced, busy role with a great company. Assuming full responsibility for the Leasing across multiple inner-city apartment complexes, in addition to building their rent role via means of contacting/building relationships with other Owners within these complexes. This is a role where you will provide excellent customer service to all external stakeholders. Some of the key components of the role include:-
  • Prospect a warm database of Owners to generate more managements for the rent role
  • Manage and respond to enquiries from prospective Tenants 
  • Maintain the database, including data entry
  • Perform Tenancy checks, qualify Tenants for properties and process Tenant applications
  • Ensure Rental lists are up to date and Properties are uploaded and advertised correctly online
  • Arrange viewings with qualified prospective Tenants
  • Issue the appropriate documentation to tenants where required in accordance of the QLD legislation
  • Conduct Open Homes and private inspections with prospective Tenants, providing solutions, advice and alternatives where you can
  • Deliver feedback and advice to Owners after inspections, making recommendations where necessary
  • Secure as many applications as possible as quickly as possible
  • Work to minimise the number of days a Property is vacant
  • Attend to all daily, weekly, Departmental meetings as required
  • Ensure Office Policies, Procedures and checklists are followed and completed at all times
  • Ensure The Acts are followed at all times, including Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act, Privacy Act, Property Occupations Act 2014, Anti-Discrimination and any other future or relevant Acts
  • Use of Console Cloud software and Inspect Real Estate
Salary: 
$70,000 plus Superannuation base plus generous bonuses on top
Monday to Friday, full-time position

To be considered for the role you will have:
  • Strong residential Leasing and or Property Management experience
  • Experience in a previous Business Development or Real Estate Sales role
  • A current Certificate of Registration 
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • The ability to form great relationships with potential clients in order to win business
