Our client is seeking a suitable candidate to lead, manage and mentor the maintenance team to support company targets of customer service and client-retention. 

Working closely with the Service Centre Management, your team will be providing inspection, repair and overhaul of HV, MV and LV electric motors, generators, compressors, turbines and other types of rotating equipment.

The role also involves:
  • Liaising with long-term clients and managing the relationships when needed
  • Recruiting, training, developing and monitoring safe work practices and staff motivation
  • Being responsible for the work flow through the centre - scheduling and allocating staff and materials 
  • Estimating of jobs when required
  • Reporting to management on progress and to assist planning
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A trade qualification in Electrical / Mechanical
    Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5 years experience in repair and overhaul of H/M/L voltage equipment and machinery
  • Winding supervision experience
  • Good management experience and communication skills
  • Mechanical problem solving skills
  • Good, efficient, time management skills
  • Full working rights within Australia
Highly regarded skills:
  • Electrical licence
  • Experience repairing HV or LV AC/DC motors
