We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Procurement Specialist to work across the whole gambit of services BSA Limited provides.  Reporting to the General Manager, the objective of this role is to reduce the total cost of procured goods and services across the BSA business. This role is intended as an entry-level role to develop an understanding of the BSA business while delivering tangible results for the business, and is viewed as a lead-in to larger leadership roles within the company if successful during this role.

Responsibilities include:
  • Analyse current goods and services spends, categories, and opportunities for savings.
  • Work with General Managers, Project Managers, and Sales team to negotiate with vendors to provide overall service level agreements which deliver cost savings for their goods and services.
  • Prepare and manage supply contracts.
  • Assist with strategic sourcing and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Collate business data into reporting formats.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the manager.
  • Uphold BSA Values and Behaviours, and take reasonable care to prevent injuries to self and others.
Qualities and skills you will need:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in roles which demonstrate the necessary skills/experience.
  • Construction across Electrical, HVAC or Fire industry experience (desired not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office software packages.
  • Team player and ability to coordinate/collaborate across different business units.
  • Proactive attitude – owns a problem and drives a solution.
  • Excellent judgement, presence and mature personality.
