About the role
As a result of continued growth Compass is looking for an experienced, trade qualified plumber to join our team based in the Hunter area. Reporting to the Maintenance Area Supervisor you will take pride in your work providing a professional and quality standard of repair and installation of plumbing products on our Residential Homes and Units. Working as part of a larger team you will demonstrate a flexible approach to your work by your willingness to undertaking a range of associated general maintenance tasks including:
  • Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
  • Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
  • Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair
  • Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building
  • Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems
About You
  • Trade qualified and plumbing licence
  • Proven residential plumbing experience
  • Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot domestic plumbing issues
  • Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems
  • Good communication with strong interpersonal skills
  • Drivers license
  • White card

  • $38 per hour including allowances
  • 38-hour week working Monday to Friday
