So what?
We are looking for a talented Broker Relationship Manager to join our dedicated BizCover for Brokers department responsible for delivering a first class service to all brokers who are in contact with the business. The broker platform is a high tech platform that makes insurance look easy, offers transparency and efficiency and is completely unique to the insurance industry. 

This role is responsible for strengthening existing relationships with our brokers, finding new opportunities to grow our broker platform as well carrying out administrative functions.  We need someone who is confident, hungry and can thrive in a busy environment to meet business deadlines.

Bizcover for Brokers is a highly successful department and has huge opportunities to grow and bring in more revenue, so you will be part of a high performing team having a direct impact on the business.  

  
What you’ll be doing?
  • Manage a high volume of telephone calls and email leads from both brokers (inbound/outbound) and internal consultants to build relationships and promote the company’s platform and products
  • Use sales, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from new and existing client companies
  • Ensure all broker requests are managed within agreed service standards whilst also adhering to the process requirements of the business.
  • Work closely with the underwriting team to find solutions for brokers who have referrals or renewals in special circumstances.
  • Attend any relevant conferences to promote the BizCover Broker brand and platform
  • Actively follow up / convert New Business Leads that come into the team daily
  • Ensure that a high level of product, process and systems knowledge is always maintained
  • Report back to the business on broker / product feedback
  • Continually promote the features and benefits of BizCover broker platform
  • Responsible for all policy maintenance, policy documentation and educating brokers in the benefits of BizCover Brokers platform
  • Work closely with our in-house IT Team to ensure our broker panel have relevant access to our platforms
  
 Who we want?
  • Previous experience in a similar role ie broker assistant, relationship management or sales
  • An understanding of general insurance products and processes
  • Fantastic relationship management and communication skills
  • Confidence and an ability to build rapport quickly
  • Target driven with strong time management skills in order meet SLA’s and business deadline
  • Someone who takes initiative and is business savy to find new ways to maximize opportunities
  • High attention to detail to minimize errors
