Our well-established occupational health business, Jobfit Health Group, is seeking an Medical Receptionist for a fixed term 12 month contract at our Jobfit Laverton North clinic. 

Jobfit Health Group delivers a broad range of occupational health care services to thousands of businesses nationally, including pre-employment assessments, work fitness assessments, injury management and prevention, drug and alcohol screening, on site medical services and health and wellness programs.
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for candidates and clients, and we place the utmost importance in ensuring they receive a professional and friendly service that delivers a positive experience. 

The position is fixed term 12-month contract, 38 hours per week - Monday to Friday.  Our role would be perfect for a candidate with 1-2 years experience in Administration or Reception who is looking to gain more skills within the medical sector.

  • Ensure at all times the highest level of customer service via optimal communication and presentation.
  • Manage daily workflow to maintain client service standards ensuring timeframes and schedules are adhered to.
  • Greeting candidates, clients and visitors, answer telephone calls, assist with enquiries and appointments.
  • Provide and explain to candidates the medical paperwork after sighting photo ID.
  • Take payments from self-payers.
  • Ensure samples are ready for pathology collection.
  • Support health professionals with administrative tasks.
  • Recognise and uphold the rights of all candidates accessing services, including maintaining cultural sensitivity.
  • Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices including the Fullerton Health Australia policies and procedures.
  • 1 - 2 years experience in Administration or Reception.
  • Business Administration qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to learn new skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and motivated.
