Reporting to the General Manager – North Island, under a recently appointed CEO who has made an instant impact, the Operations Manager will play a critical role is driving and shaping future success of the Auckland Plant, the largest of four manufacturing sites across New Zealand.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Leading and contributing to the Zero Harm safety culture and well-being of employees
Provide leadership, coaching and direction for Operations teams
Improve quality, yield, up-time, productivity of the plant
Drive a culture of equipment continuous improvement
Drive a strong accountability culture from team behaviors to reducing downtime
Manage costs and ensure on time delivery of product to the customer, without risk to employees, equipment or the environment.
