Your new role

We have a unique opportunity for a confident, self-starter with outstanding interpersonal and organisation skills to join the team as a Future Student Engagement Coordinator.  Providing a quality advisory service, you will develop relationships with schools, TAFEs, parents and community groups across Western Australia, acting as a link between Curtin and future undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Other responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering information to future students over the phone, or through presentations at seminars, workshops and lectures.
  • Implementing business development strategies to help recruit students.
  • Understanding market trends and utilising marketing analytics and digital platforms to further engage with students and achieve recruitment targets.
  • Collaborating with University Marketing to provide customer insight into advertising campaigns.
  • Maintaining accurate school and client contract records within appropriate CRM.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on Curtin courses.
  • Conducting training workshops for Curtin Student Ambassadors.
You will bring to the role
  • A bachelor degree and relevant experience, or extensive experience and training in outreach or account-based relationship management.
  • The ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Outstanding public speaking skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of groups at seminars, workshops and lectures.
  • Expertise in presenting written information, concepts, ideas or instructions to others in a way that is clear and professional.
  • Excellent customer service skills, addressing client needs in a positive, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Outstanding networking skills with the ability to build information sources and networks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Experience in the delivery of account-based recruitment strategies to meet targets and demonstrated relationship/account management ability.
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to become proficient with a Marketing Automation, CRM, digital engagement platforms and Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of University course structures (desirable).
  • Experience working with and engaging with youths under 18.
  • A Working with Children Check.
