Your new role

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding strategic leader, with exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills, to lead the Curtin Open University Australia (OUA) Operations Office. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Planning, organising, leading and reviewing the operations of the team.
  • Developing and implementing plans to improve student administration and operations of the area.
  • Providing leadership, coaching and management to the team.
  • Building and maintaining strategic networks and relationships with key partners.
  • Developing and managing the budget, collecting statistical data and preparing reports for the Director and other business partners.
You will bring to the role
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise within a complex organisation; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
  • Strong experience in developing, monitoring and implementing policies and processes.
  • Exceptional strategic, team leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, negotiation skills and problem solving skills with the ability to offer solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience in achieving strategic business outcomes through effective resource management.
  • Strong IT skills with previous experience using a student data management system.
