Who is Standards Australia?

We are an independent not-for-profit organisation, recognised by the Australian Government as the peak non-government Standards body.  We develop internationally aligned Australian Standards in the national interest and work closely with government, industry, consumer and stakeholder groups.

About the Role
  
The L&D Specialist will develop content and design learning programs for Standards Australia (soft skills and standardisation related topics).
They will also facilitate learning workshops (F2F and via Zoom) to our internal and external stakeholders, some of whom will be executive level industry leaders!

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage SA’s learning programs (end-to-end)
    • o Writing (content, facilitator notes and learner guides)
    • o Facilitating
    • o Assessment
    • o Feedback
    • o Follow-up
    • o Administration
    • o Coaching
  • Prepare and deliver on engagement plans to attract participants to non-compulsory learning
  • Evaluate learning programs for effectiveness and ROI
  • Facilitate and manage online communities
  • Provide a learning design service to the business
  • Occasional travel for face-to-face facilitation (post-Covid)
What are we looking for?

We need a detail orientated, passionate and enthusiastic L&D expert to join the team.

Experience required:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of experience across required areas of expertise
  • Learning design (3+ years)
  • F2F and online facilitation (3+ years)
  • eLearning
  • Delivering learning initiatives to technical audiences
  • Presenting engaging, fun and informative workshops
  • Dealing with SMEs and building strong relationships
