The Role 
  
Due to increased business success, a newly created role has been developed for a driven and ambitious candidate who is looking for an opportunity to work with a progressive business who has growth on its trajectory. 
  
In this role, you will support two advisers and be responsible for the delivery of strategic advice documents. Specifically, you will:
  
  • Research, plan and manage the preparation of client strategies and progress meetings 
  • Prepare strategy SOA's in partnership with our Advisers using Adviser Logic and the Outsourced Client Service team
  • Review clients’ financial strategies and provide feedback and support to advisers including strategy recommendations and analysis
  • Project manage implementation of advice by leading internal and outsourced client service team
  • Complete Financial Modelling of client situations using Adviser Logic and Excel
  • Manage and track client workflows 
  • Keep abreast of strategy and product innovation by completing ongoing professional development, liaising with Product Providers and Technical teams.
  • Ensure the compliance of all advice documentation across our business 
  • Support the implementation of ‘best practice’ systems and processes.

The Person

To be suitable for this role, you will be adaptable to change, have a passion for delivering strategic financial solutions to clients and be forward thinking with your ideas.
We are seeking candidates who possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Previous experience as a paraplanner – minimum of 2 years
  • A strong working knowledge of financial planning strategies and the advice process 
  • Financial planning qualifications – diploma or degree 
  • Strong knowledge of Investments and personal insurance 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage your time effectively
  • Strong numerical literacy
  • MS office skills
