TABMA Apprentices and Trainees are now taking applications for two motivated candidates to join the team as Truss and Frame Design trainees located in inner South Adelaide. 

This opportunity is open to entry level applicants who demonstrate a willingness to learn, commitment, good communication, excellent computer skills and an eye for detail along with the ability to problem solve. This role would especially suit candidates who enjoyed graphics, IT and design subjects at school and who are interested in learning more about computer aided drawing and various software packages. 

The Traineeship will include the following duties:
  • Prepare and advise on a broad range of timber truss and frame details on computer applications
  • Apply building codes and standards to meet specifications
  • Identify and produce estimated costs for building and construction projects
  • Interact with clients and staff on projects
  • Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices
  • Monitor safety, health and environment policies and procedures
